Y el día 19 los abogados de Renault F1 (Whiters) , responden extensamente y con bastante precisión este tercer requerimiento, volviendo sobre las propias entrevistas mantenidas con los implicados; la respuesta más interesante se encuentra en la página 88 del Dossier y dice así:
"Initially, Mr.Symonds denied the allegations and his responses were consistent with those given in the FIA interviews. However, after I had spoken with the whistle-blower, Mr.Symonds neither denied nor admitted the allegations made by the whistle-blower. His refusal to deny the allegations and other comments made to me led me to conclude that the allegations were, at least, largely true. Mr.Symonds has since admitted his involvement and he has apologized for lying to me and expressed his deep regret for his part in the incident."
"Inicialmente, Mr.Symonds negó las acusaciones y sus respuestas fueron coherentes con las dadas en los interrogatorios de la FIA. Sin embargo, después de mi conversación con el soplón, Mr.Symonds ni negó ni reconoció las acusaciones formuladas por el soplón. Su renuncia a negar las acusaciones y otros comentarios que me hizo me llevaron a la conclusión de que las acusaciones eran básicamente ciertas. Mr.Symonds ya ha admitido su participación y se ha disculpado por mentirme y ha expresado su profundo lamento por haber tomado parte en el incidente."
